As parents of 2 young children, we feel that we have a good idea of what we want in a play area; We want an exciting but safe place for the children to explore and have unforgettable adventures. We want a menu of healthy, interesting food to satisfy both children and adults. We want to sit in a comfortable, clean environment to read the paper and drink really nice coffee. We want spotlessly clean toilets where we can change the baby. We want staff who are smiley friendly and efficient.We couldn’t find what we were looking for in East Lancashire so we made it ourselves!
If you come down to Giddy Kippers today, you’re sure of a big surprise! We’ve teamed up with Be My Bear and this summer we’re offering brand new make a bear workshops at Giddy Kippers. There are no sewing skills required and it really is a fun activity for all ages, boys and girls. The first session will take place on Thursday 23rd July and runs from 11 to 4 no booking required. Our staff will be on hand to help you to create your new best friend, the hardest part is choosing which of our gorgeous cuddly toys you want to take home…the rest is easy!

Cafe - Why not Join us at kippers café from breakfast right through to tea time. We have an excellent café serving freshly prepared food and drinks throughout the day.Watch the children have a ball while you enjoy a freshly brewed coffee and catch up with the news. As parents, we’re all trying to feed the children with good healthy food and it’s so frustrating when you take them out to find that everything comes deep fried! We will be offering home cooked meals and tempting specials to tickle the fussiest taste buds. Please note that last orders for food are 1 hour before closing time.
Facilities - Come and play on our amazing play zone, it’s a fantastic, purpose built 3 storey structure complete with: 4 lane astra slide, Ball cannons, Balance beams, Splat pad, Ball bounce, Spiral tube slide, We also have a smaller version for little kippers which includes: Ball juggler, Mini slide, Ball pool and Climbing net. There’s also a special soft baby den for giddy kippers who are still finding their feet. Great facilities at great value, does everything it says on the tin and more.
